I agree. I'm also tired of journalists such as the ones at briefing.com who now consider themselves TA experts whose self fulfilling prophecies of stock moves are helped along by the fact that they release them as "news releases" to all briefing subscribers as well as the millions who read their stuff free on brokerage sites and yahoo.

When a stock or index nearing support or resistance breaks that point, of course the move is compounded when that event is released as a news event all over the internet.

This is relatively new on briefing, within the past 6 months and I find it really annoying.

You may have noticed that two articles hit the wires this weekend stating that September/October will be down. These guys are relying on past history to make this prediction.

And unless they have a crystal ball that no one else does, my feeling is that this diabolical market rarely does what everyone expects it to, so how can they be so sure....
