I don't recall what the fund redemption situation was back in the last Bush/MrG recession but there are many more folks, many unemployed now, who hold funds than back in 1991 recession days. Thus, a year of restructuring perhaps awaits us all coupled with the ax of fund redemptions as well ?

Wouldn't you like to be a bug on the wall at Tuesday's FMOC meeting ? Here they are sitting there looking at the mess they help create and it's them trying to fix the mess ! Looks like confidence in MrG is dropping along with the Nazdaq (that awful "irational" stock market). There is only one more "bubble" for them to mess up and that's housing. So it looks like they won the war on inflation but in the process deep 6'd stock liquidity.
