Oh give me a break..... If Israel wanted to embark on a war of conquest, giving back the Sinai peninsula, which is rightfully won in 1967, is a hell of p*ss-poor way of going about it.

Every piece of territory that Israel possesses since 1948 has been gained by right of self-defense, either from outright aggression against it, or as a result of denying that territory to Fedayen guerillas, hizbullah, or Fatah.

Israel has been perfectly willing to engage nations like Syria in peace talks, only to be told to give back the Golan heights first. It doesn't matter than Syria used the Golan to bombard Israeli villages in the valley below, or to infiltrate their guerillas across the border.

I'm beginning to believe you've been spending a bit too much time in the poppy fields of the Bekaa Valley.
