Hi E It is with some hesitation that I reply to your post, but since I am one of those who are on X's ignore list and apparently also "LOST IT", I feel I should at least offer some defense. She was, is, the author of her own misfortune as far as I'm concerned. I would be happy to never mention her again, but you have brought the subject up, so I will respond ever so briefly and then let it go. X can give it out but she does not like the taste of her own medicine. She has at times, been the most acerbic and insulting person I have ever had the misfortune to engage in a conversation. Then, the next moment, she's Betty Rubble, warm and funny and caring. I don't know which is the real her, and I doubt very much you do either. Frankly, at times she makes my blood run cold with the things she says, but I will stop there, before I reopen old wounds. As I said, X has invited and incited the kind of responses she got and now she has run away to the shelter of a moderated thread. I am glad she has people like you that care for her, in my opinion she is a deeply disturbed and confused individual, and needs all the love she can get. Personally I have compassion for her, but I could never let her crazy, and contradictory philosophy go unchallenged. Now, I am willing to drop the matter entirely, and not mention her again. I do not have a vendetta against her or anyone else for that matter. I did say some things to her, in the heat of an argument that I later regretted, and I tried to apologize to her. Something which btw she has never reciprocated. anyway it's late. I truly wish you, and her, all the best. Forgive me if I caused you any offence. Good night. Greg

Message 16221788 "I want this stream of posting about me to stop. I am not a public figure. I will not be part of this board any longer. I do not wish to associate with any of you. Surely you "men" here have better things to do with your time than discuss me. Maybe not, but if not, maybe now is the time to develop other interests. I do not want people defending me anymore than I want to see people ignorant of me trying to discuss me and my life and my posts. The only PM's I have sent out were to tell people to STOP defending me. That I do not need. << You know, what I find interesting is that the controversy died down until you responded to a post by brees several days and nearly 1000 posts later resurrecting the argument. An act which was obviously contrary to your friends wishes. (Particularly ironic since the post to which I am responding starts with "I will end the discussion") If someone else has made this observation, my apologies. Slogging through an endless stream of he said/she said messages in which you figure prominently just isn't my cup of tea.
