Better reread what I said, Dan. I said, "My guess is that Compaq and HP don't like the cooling solution for high powered Athlon systems, while Intel has ensured that the cooling solution for the Pentium 4 already meets their stability requirements." It's just a guess, but not nearly so far fetched as some of your wild ideas.
