OT -
A follow up to those that I happened to bore this week-end with my dsl/cable transition <g>

discovered part of the problem - I didn't receive everything (ng)

this is what happened - I was trying to install the dsl hardware. I disconnected my
cable usb.
When I did that, the system was looking for that cable driver and couldn't find it. When
I hit the "fix" button, it "fixed" it alright!

Anyway, this am, I reinstalled the dsl hardware but this time, I left the cable plugged in
to my usb port. Had no problem. dsl hardware installed ok.

Now what? I called support and just discovered that I need and did not receive the disc
for the dsl software. Not only that, it had not even been ordered for me. Will receive in
about a week. Also didn't know that I can ONLY use explorer with dsl, not netscape,
which I use exclusively.

Just had a call from someone, giving me an url in order to download temporary s/w to use until
I get the disk.

I'm having second thoughts, but will see what happens.
