My list of down the tubes once high fliers is" PSI-Net (PSIX), Metrocom (the Net wireless people), and COVAD (the DSL folks). Exodus is also in there and you can't forget JDSU and look at old LU !

Sort of looks like a fire sale. Reminds me of late '98 when folks were throwing out their stocks with the bath water.

Could be fools gold we have here now or a wonderful buying op for the long term for young folks.

Then again we could be in for a long haul of flat markets where bonds do better than stocks. I'm no expert but I think there were decade periods where bonds actually out paced stocks ?

My late Aunt lived through the Depression and she had the vision to avoid stocks as she was an accountant. She put her money in the cellar at the time !
