Don,

First DVD-RW drive?

Not true, I've had my pioneer A03 for 10 days now. It's also a CD-RW, DVD-R drive. It makes DVDs that can be played on most new DVD players. The DVD-R blanks are incredibly expensive at us$9 each mail order (I paid over 10 each as I had to get them in Canada [seeing how hard they are to get, I got 2x50 blanks]).

The problem is what to do now with my large collection of DVD-RAM cartridges, I guess a remastering of DV->DVD-R is a good idea? Maybe I do need a rdram P4 after all to get the DVD-mastering thing to run faster.
