Heat sinks are always robust, they are just pieces of
metal. Fans are not much.
However, you are again confused. Intel P4 system
may seem robust because the P4 has a built-in
clock-throttling mechanism that is software-independent,
internal hardware-only. AMD should think to
implement something like this too.
