I've heard that about sneezing. I think I've tried keeping my eyes open, but can't remember the outcome.

I just remembered something else about sneezing. The practice of saying "bless you" when someone sneezes originated during some middle age plague. First people would sneeze and the next thing, they'd be dead. Nowadays, folks sneeze from allergies.
