Robert,
I think that Eskin guy is reaching for material re: Billick. Billick has a way of p*ssing off the media and most rival coaches. But to answer you directly, there has been very little talk about that scene in Baltimore ... though I do not listen to sports radio so I may be out of the loop on that.

You could be right about the SB hangover. Another possibility is that w/ a passing game and a serviceable running game the O scores more points and puts in the D in even better position. I want to see the next 2 pre-season games before I offer my guess.

So far, my assessment is...

Weak parts of the team are:
1) O-line
2) RB
3) Special teams
4) Lack of depth at every position but defensive tackle.

Biggest dropoffs from last seasons squad are:
1) RB
2) ST
3) Depth

Biggest improvements
1) QB
2) WR
