Exactly my point. Clean air is not a liberal versus conservative position. Likewise for loving families, clean environment, safe communities, innocent children being protected, etc. As human beings and friends and neighbours and co-workers--conservatives and liberals are much more alike than they are different; they have far more to celebrate than to denigrate. Although I have never enjoyed the concept of big government-I think hating people for their political affiliation ought to be recognized as a judicial matter. Whether one is a liberal or a conservative has nothing whatsoever to do with whether they are fine people or not; and it never justifies supercilious disdain and irrational contempt. Does Amnesty have a fairly clear picture as to where and to what extent child sacrifice is still practiced?
