She has expressed distaste for the belief that one can know the truth; for the belief that justice is objective rather than a transient human construct; for the idea that there are over-arching human values, rather than values peculiar to groups and time periods; and for the idea that there are objective principles that one can discover in morality.

A lotta words there. And yes, I see with amusement that you (and probably only you) recognize that the claim of "distaste" for the beliefs was ludicrous on its own, and so have massaged it by changing what brees said there to make it seem less so. I didn't bother with it, even, Neocon, lol.

What you have offered again is obfuscation of the point under discussion, and an inadequate explication of moral relativism. But rather than change the subject to moral relativism, a philosophical subject on which a library of books has been written by minds greater than yours or mine...

Just tell me this:

Has X mentioned a distaste on her part for truth?

Has X mentioned a distaste on her part for justice?

Has X mentioned a distaste on her part for values?

Has X mentioned a distaste on her part for principles?

How about for other such noble things? (Those might be virtue, kindness, decency, loyalty, etc, I should imagine.)

Has X mentioned a distaste on her part for any of the above?

Nice try. But this is beating your head against a wall so to speak. You will not persuade E. She will not admit of the possiblity that there might be another interpretation to brees comments. The literalness with which she reads the post belies the alleged highminded analysis she is pushing here. Note the non-substantive cheerleading by Pollutant as well. It is an endless loop I'm afraid...
