I am surprised but delighted that you and X have gotten along in the past. It seems to me that if you've found a bit of shared humanity on one topic or another, it would prohibit you from attacking her as personally and vehemently as you have recently. I am reading the first paragraph of your post (sans loaded words) to mean I support what E has been saying this morning. I certainly do.

Based on your recent performance, I have reason to take any characterization you make with a truck of salt. Can you show any place in which X has stated anything remotely hateful about the practice of living by one's principles, as opposed to making a criticism of a particular principle? I challenge you to do that. If I say that I am appalled by people who live by the principle that if you kill people and eat their brains you will get smarter, have i "made a hateful statement about persons who live by principle"? Or have i just objected to that particular principle? Just wonderin' what this new accusation of yours against X amounts to!
