Mike...no need for feeling unloved...except by those who have you on ignore....:) 1) Winston Churchill comes close to being the hero of the Century....but there will have to be other contestants for an unbiased vote of the thread viewers. 2) The US Warberg prediction....???? Seems that everyone (analyst) is predicting something different. 3) The pessimism about the Fed action has got every ones attention. Suppose he (AG)gave a depression and no one showed up. 4) But consider this....inflation is not a thread...Lower interest rates are not moving the market in the usual fashion...corporations are increasing the number of layoffs to maintain profitability....heavy manufacturing (cars, trucks, farm equipment) are lowering expectations for the next year, drug stocks will get killed if the states are successful in mandating more and earlier generic substitutions......so where is one to hide? 5) I used to believe that one could never own enough INTC, AMAT, CSCO and the other usual suspects....about now I wish I owned a little less of these gems.
