pas.ax - never looked close at Pasminco, but i have learned not to dismiss russ' judgments out of hand, nor yours ... here's their overview on Yahoo - au.us.biz.yahoo.com .. debt of 1.41 billions, operating profit last year of 21.3 millions, and that was before these last few months of metals tanking ... ouch, no wonder the shareprice slide, market cap of 152m ... five or six per cent of its '97 peak - au.finance.yahoo.com ... well those mines will still be there if they go bust or break up ... might get shut down once product price falls below operating cost? ... one would hope and expect, since that's what it takes, combined with upturn in demand, to turn the cycle russ, tyke does have a point on Inmet imho, they've got one loonie eighty something in cash and the market is not according them sufficient value for Cayeli, Troilus, and OK Tedi [well ok it's history now], let alone their healthy interest in Antamina and other goodies like Izok .... but then, this is true of so many ymc.u.v - annual and special meeting tomorrow, in Toronto i believe ... website has been updated - anatolia-minerals.com ... among other things a zoomable map of the peninsula, fairly well done ... should be assays coming soon for the holes near CRC-1a, got my toes crossed on this one, can ya spell c-o-n-t-i-n-u-i-t-y
