<<Nice rebound in gold stocks towards the end of the day.>>

I saw it as an opportunity to take some more trading profits on the producers and hope to re-buy in the XAU 52.50 to 55 region. RYPMX now constitutes 20% of my Rydex account as opposed to 50% yesterday morning. This is just what I hope will continue to be low-risk trading. Not selling my explorer position which is much larger.

George, I'm thinking gold bugs are going to be killed if the fed doesn't cut anything more than 1/4%.

- apparent lack of inflation - due to reduced fuel cost
- deteriorating currencies around the world
- U.S. still considered a safe haven

Market volumes were light today considering what we are going to see tomorrow -- just hold onto your hat.

Regards
Frank P.

George S. Cole,
A lot of chart work I have done recently focuses on the 93 gold bull and the nascent moves of this one. I find a lot of similarities in the TA plus lots of fractals.

Don't have time tonight to post any examples, but am convinced enough to hold. JMHO, but I think you are very correct to use that one as an illustration.

Best Regards,

Roebear

George S Cole,
Securitytrader put up charts today on one board with targets of $400 for gold. Good charts and measure I would guess comes from 99 test of spike lows (327) and subsequent bottom. We could, according to st, even go down to prior lows and not break the bullish chart as that would change pattern to a double bottom and basic same measure would apply. ST is not a starry eyed gold bug, they mostly do tech charts (but that was then this is now, ggg) and a ittle energy and other sectors

I know this all sounds weird, but no matter, I've been waiting for ST to give a POG target as they are of good accuracy. They hit the 11K+ on the DOW long before anyone else who could back it up with charts that I saw!

No time frame, but I believe it is as someone else once said,

"When, not if"

Best of luck, sorry I can't copy or repro the charts, but I do concur with ST's opinion and the "when, not if".
Short term, hellifIno, ggg.
