Good points John...I've heard that several of the casinos in Reno have reduced payouts on Video Poker (easy to gauge, 'cause the payout schedule is visible on the screen on every machine) and reduced comp rates. The Peppermill in particular has been guilty of this, as has Harrah's in Lake Tahoe.

OTOH, the opposite seems to be happening in the locals joints in Vegas(ie, Station Casinos, where some improvement in Full Pay Video Poker has been noted), so it's hard to know what the trend might mean. Also interesting that MBG and HET both missed/warned last Q...

(If they start messing around with the booze they serve though, they may chase away hard core degenerate gamblers like myself...NEVER a good idea!<VBG>)
