Brain, Thanks for posting that article. Isn't this amazing? We put a man on the moon thirty years ago, but in the year 2001 we can't even measure data traffic. Obviously someone is quite wrong here since the reports conflict so much. There are apparently many professionals in the financial world who have trouble with numbers and with the interpretation of data. I wonder how these people keep the kind of jobs they have? Could there be deliberate manipulation involved?

If data traffic is increasing at a rate of four times annually, even with the "last mile" bottleneck (which will give way at some point), then maybe now is the time to buy some of these telecom related stocks.

I think we can start an interesting discussion here with this article.
