"He inherited the strongest economy in a generation and the largest surpluses in history," said Thomas S. Kahn, staff director for the Democrats on the House Budget Committee, "and in a few months we've seen those surpluses slip through our fingers

More demolib lies. The economy was weak and sinking fast when Bush entered office. The CBO still predicts a $200 billion surplus this year. Surplus! In an economy which is in a downturn!!!

Shame on these LIARS....

This guy (another Democrat who doesn't seem to read or look at the stock charts)...April 2000, right after the Government slammed MSFT in an attempt to split the company, the charts for nearly all companies start heading south....Eventually people got laid off...and surpluses aren't as predicted...Happened on Clinton's watch...10 MONTHS before GWB even took over....

I do believe THAT sums it ALL up:
"Thomas S. Kahn, staff director for the Democrats on the House Budget Committee, "and in a few months we've seen those surpluses slip through our fingers"
