Jock --

In the economic down cycle, only the strong survives and in fact becomes stronger by eating the little ones.

Considering the balance sheet and the no debt factor of CSCO, I am baffled as why you want to even consider putting your money in JNPR and AVCI?

For a while JNPR had it going, but CSCO will eventually eat them alive for breakfast as it has already to some extend. And AVCI: (isnt it a bit like the twin brother of TMTA in terms of investment?).

Of course I may very well be totally wrong.

My personal picks right now are: CSCO, JDSU, VTSS, LSI, MSFT, CIEN, GLW, INTC, OPWV, and ONIS.

My time horizon for significant returns from these stocks are no sooner than Q4 of 2002.
