According to the “Commercial Times,” spot prices in Taiwan for 128M SDRAM have risen from US$1.35 to US$1.4, however, we haven’t gotten confirmation of this on price quoting websites or from traders. In our opinion, if Taiwan PC motherboard makers continue to post 10% mom sales growth in August and September, then the DRAM market might improve in September, but its still too early to talk about rebound in the DRAM market.
