Thank you for that information. Wow, our incarceration rate is 5 to 8 times the rate of most industrialized nations! It is extremely difficult for me to understand why so many folks around the world look up to us considering that shameful fact.... One contributing factor they forgot to mention about Russia is the fact that their rate of alcohol abuse is astronomical! Vodka is relatively cheap in Mother Russia, and is causing much pain and misery and hurting the reliability of the workers. A nation that drowns themselves in alcohol is tying one hand behind their back in the ongoing fight for prosperity.
