Do you know whether this was part of a hedging (insurance} strategy?
Did you consider that the put seller @ 1.40 will make a very handsome profit if the puts expire worthless?

In following that link, I also noticed that there were multiple 10K GX calls purchased, some for Jan. 03 in the 45 to 65 range... Some other big ones for Jan. 02... bets being placed on both sides...
