RSD - I don't believe that. Let me put it this way. If teh Dems were in now and doing more or less the same as GW I woould say the saem thing for the GOP in 04.

My point is that this is no ordinary slump and if they are not very careful it is going to get really nasty. It is already bad enough and anyone comin to the 04 election is going to be able to gently remind the people just how miserable being in a nasty recession is.

It makes no difference who is in the Adminstration ie I wasn't trying to be over critical of GW any more than Al G if he were there.

I do think that he ought to be behind his desk now though even if just for appearances sake. I don't think that sitting on the ranch on holday while the economy falls apart in front of our eyes is the right thing to do. Bu having said that I like GW. No real reason I just think he is a decent guy.
