Hello;

I reviewed the quarterly report for the 3 Third Ave. Funds. Mr. Whitman (a fantastic read, by the way!) purchased large amounts of additional shares in the St. Joe Co. for all 3 of his funds. I forgot to bring the report with me, but I'll post the actual amounts later.

It was very encouraging to read his comments, which basically were that he believes the market does not understand the current value of the property owned by JOE, or the future potential it has.

He has very low turnover in his funds, and will hold a security for years if his convictions do not change.

In addition, Dick Young of Intelligent Investor newsletter also is a big fan of JOE, having it as one of his fastest risers. This doesn't mean that the stock will jump soon, just that it should beat the overall market it participates in.

Be well.

Mark
