The processing of metals, their recovery and transformation by biological agents is the coming thing. I have a bacterial oxidation process in place in my backyard. A fairly complex 2 ton mass of metallic iron is being simply and cheaply converted to an easy to shovel heap of ferrous compounds with no energy input at all. I would patent it, but prior invention by Ford Motor Company prevents this. EC<:-}
