Hi Karen,

2 of my personal favorites, especially "subsume". Yes, I admit, it sent me to the dictionary.

"Disabuse" used to be one of the words I used with my kids when they were little.....I would often say "Let me just disabuse you of that notion....."

Until I realized one of these days my five year old might go to his kindergarten teacher and say..."My mommie disabuses me all the time." I decided it might be wise to remove it from the lexicon for a while.
