Terion Enters Into Agreement With QUALCOMM On Driver Messaging Systems

MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug 21, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Terion, Inc. announced today that the Company has entered into an agreement with QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq:QCOM) to offer its products to Terion's driver messaging customers. Under the terms of the agreement, QUALCOMM has authorized Terion the right to resell the OmniTRACS(R) and OmniExpress(TM) driver messaging systems to Terion's existing driver-messaging customer base. Last week, Terion announced that it was phasing out its Mobile Cab Communications business, including its Mobile Messenger(TM) and Mobile Workstation(TM) products to focus its resources on its successful FleetView(TM) trailer monitoring system.
This agreement will allow Terion to offer its existing Mobile Cab Communications customers QUALCOMM products for a limited time. Terion will be contacting its customers over the next several days with details of the offering.

this is an excellent start (NextWave news with UBS)
I cannot think of any way to resolve, undo, fix, or rectify the other big bad ball&chain, namely the exorbitant spectrum auction prices
that will take a couple years minimum to work thru
