CEOs of Sun Microsystems, Corporate Express and i2 Join Thought Leadership Forum as Guest Speakers

DALLAS--Aug. 27, 2001--PLANET®2001 Las Vegas, a thought-leadership forum where knowledge powers opportunity, today announced that Scott McNealy, CEO of Sun Microsystems, Inc.; Bob King, president and CEO of North American Operations for Corporate Express; and Greg Brady, CEO of i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO - news), will speak at PLANET2001 Las Vegas this fall.

PLANET is a three-day event that provides senior-level executives and key influencers with the essential tools, strategies and best practices they need to recognize and sustain a valuable competitive advantage. PLANET is scheduled for October 15-18 at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

``Scott McNealy, Bob King and Greg Brady are visionaries and influential leaders who have successfully guided their respective companies to leadership positions in the business world. They will provide executives attending PLANET with real-world experiences and actionable insights that can help attendees increase value for their own business,'' said PLANET2001 chairperson Melis Jones.

Speakers at PLANET plan to cover topics such as how to increase business process efficiencies to reduce development time, streamline supplier and customer relationships and achieve proven results to increase revenue.

Scott McNealy co-founded Sun Microsystems in 1982, seeing the company develop into a leading global supplier of network computing solutions, with revenues of more than $18.3 billion. McNealy has served as CEO since 1984 and is one of the most influential and widely quoted leaders in the IT industry. McNealy's ideas about computing often predate industry trends. For more than a decade, he has been advancing Sun's slogan, The Network Is The Computer(TM) - a succinct statement of the company's vision of seamless connectivity.

Bob King was promoted to president and CEO of North American Operations for Corporate Express in 1998 after serving as president and COO since 1993. Under King's direction and leadership, revenues grew from $165 million to nearly $4 billion between 1993 and 1999, making Corporate Express North America a $5 plus billion business today. As an experienced executive, King is able to attract and motivate top executive talent with a clear understanding of how information systems and technology are used for strategic advantage, positioning Corporate Express as one of the world's largest corporate suppliers.

Greg Brady was named CEO of i2 in May after serving the company as president. He is credited with helping to lead the company from its standing as a small start-up to the global leader in value chain management. Under his leadership, i2's revenues have grown from $11 million in 1996 to $1.1 billion in 2000. In 1996, he was primarily responsible for i2's successful initial public offering, which defined the supply chain market for the investment community. Brady is the visionary driving the evolution of i2's market-leading dynamic value chain solutions.

More PLANET2001 speakers are expected to be announced soon. For additional information on PLANET2001 or to register to attend, please go to planet.i2.com.
