BTW, before I leave for the afternoon: I can't remember where we talked about Condit, but the chances are 50/50 that the Democratic Party will put him out of his misery next month: legislative reapportionment is scheduled to be complete at that time. With complete control of the process this time, rumor has it that the Democrats intend to carve up his district and leave him with no viable place to run. I am not so sure. It depends on the polls. I am sure that is why he is finally going to talk to someone now (Connie Chung). We shall see.
