Although the corpse of the long-dead and heavily-battered horse I spoke of yesterday is barely recognizable, a few people still want their turn at bat and have raised it high as a piñata. It is not a pretty sight.

I appreciate the thought. I have indicated from time to time that I thought there might be another explanation. I will stop using the word 'liar' and substitute 'purveyor of untruths.'

If life were infinitely long, I would go back and show you other examples of his purveying of untruths, the vehicle often being insults dressed up as attributions. It's too common and too self-serving to be simply the other explanation.

I hope having had it... mentioned... so... repeatedly... will cause him to hesitate in the future, but because of the confirmation he got in this practice from his pals, I doubt that he learned a thing about not rationalizing the purveying of untruths.
