Several years back, and much to their chagrin, Compaq and IBM found that their suppliers had been charging them more than they charged smaller customers, figuring they could afford it.

Liked your post but this one subject bothers me. It is not at the tax payer's expense to forgive taxes the government wouldn't have otherwise collected. Intel get's lots of these breaks but the local businesses thrive, property values go up, property tax revenues go up etc, income tax revenues go up etc etc. Local Liberal politicians call it a bribe but somehow I can't understand how you can bribe someone by promising to take less of their money.
