The definition of communism has been changed by 20th century history, in the wake of Stalin, Mao, and the many other murderous regimes. Any large-scale exercises in socialism, including those in Russia and China, were quickly abandon under a torrent of famine and counter-revolution. But communism today, generally means the ultra-corrupt systems like the former Soviet Union, where universal health care was taken for granted, as was the ineffectiveness of the health care system. The liberals would bring that here, to help the "old folks", you understand...
