Guree, right on about the uncut-cut.

But had he cut any more there would have been nothing left. That's why I remarked about the amputation --- he's cut it all off, already.

Greenspan's cutting of US interest rates reminds me of an analogy. In Africa, the indigenous folks circumcise a youth at puberty as the mark of him being a "man". The young men go off into the mountains where the ceremony is held and, without anesthesia, the foreskin is simply cut off with a sharp knife. Presumably, those who want to be "more of a man" have more cut off. That reminds me of Greenspan --- he believes that the more he cuts, the stronger the economy gets when, in actual fact, the opposite is true.

The markets show this. And indeed, if Abbey Cohen had a penis she would understand that, too.
