Abbey Cohen may be right. Remember this is low volume August and when Wall Street returns from vacation things could rally. Plus any guidance of a recovery which we're likely to see in the next month or two could ratchet this market up 28% easily. Unless you think we're mired in a recession for a year from here you have to admit this market is extremely oversold. I like many I'm sure have just decided to hold through the storm and accumulate on dips. I expect by year's end we'll see much better prices and 3% interest rates as well.

Abby Cohen was on both CNNfn and Fox this afternoon. She said she stopped giving projections for the Nasdaq in 99 since it no longer tracked earnings and cash flow.
