Bill Seems to be too fragile if 80C crashes it?

Well here's Ali Chen's comment from yesterday:

"Lower Tjmax means that internal timing of Intel chips falls apart much earlier. There are indications that it is related to poor chip layout and corresponding hot spots. The 90-95 deg.C for AMD is an indication of a well balanced design, and it tells that there is a significant room for speed jacking if a more expensive cooling is provided."

But I don't think that Intel's Tjmax is an indication of poor reliability. It should be the other way around. Since box designers must keep the chip cool for stability reasons, the average operating temperature is also lower. A lower average operating temperature should mean longer life, all other things being equal.
