It's not over until the FBI makes some sort of announcement and some basic questions get answered:

1. When will PLMD resume operations?
2. Will they get kicked out of Medicare?
3. Will senior officers get indicted?

At this point the longs can only pray for a big fine and some minor indictments as long as the company is allowed to resume operations and stay with Medicare.

There's a very real chance that the company is going to be booted out of the Medicare program. That will destroy the stock for good.

I can't believe that 85 agents will raid a business that isn't guilty of something more serious than offenses that merit only fines. But we'll find out in time.

As for the long-time longs here you have my sympathies.

Search Warrants Executed by FBI At PolyMedica Subsidiaries in Florida; Normal

Operations Resumed Today

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2001--PolyMedica
Corporation (NNM: PLMD) reported that agents from the Federal Bureau
of Investigation executed search warrants yesterday at facilities of
PolyMedica's subsidiaries Liberty Medical Supply and Liberty Home
Pharmacy in Florida and served a grand jury subpoena on PolyMedica.
The FBI copied extensive records of the Company. The Company does not
know the extent of the investigation.

Both subsidiaries resumed normal operations this morning. Trading
in PolyMedica's stock was halted yesterday pending dissemination of
this news.

PolyMedica and Liberty are continuing to cooperate fully with the
investigation.
