Thanks for the warm welcome. I am glad you enjoy the clean Canadian air.

I have indeed looked at Qualcomm. The five companies I follow are: SEBL, BEAS, QCOM, RMBS and JNPR. My watchlist includes: WIND, ARMHY and GMST.

Qualcomm looks well positioned and with the Nokia capitulation all real threats seem removed. Perhaps DoCoMo will play Macintosh in the is industry. Qualcomm has one thing in common with BEAS. Both companies are experiencing a rapid development phase with some question about the deployment phase. I think with both the question is when and not if. Of course, Qualcomm has many more assets to survive a protracted winter than does BEA.
