Charles, re: selling Fab25

If AMD insists on not making its own chipsets - both high-end and low-end in volume - volume is alpha and omega. If AMD's "virtual gorilla partners" don't see significant, sustained volume, they just aren't going to devote the necessary resources to chipset development.

As long as AMD can churn out platform-compatible processors from Fab25 without generating a significant loss, AMD needs to keep doing it.

Of course, there are other routes, but Jerry seems hell bent on taking that course.

Remember the Sanders' Mantra: Volume is our vaccine to the Intel poison.

RE:"With more fabs, I can see AMD making some losses ;-) "

Isn't it the same problem Intel face but at an order of magnitude bigger problem.
