I really thought that ERICY bought the infra div to sweep it under the rug unless CDMA really had a chance; now they must think it does.

My cannabilizing comment was meant to reference growing their biz at the expense of existing CDMA vendors.

Presumably, the China win coupled with the spectrum-rich, cash-poor Europeans have open their eyes. Seems there are many TDMA systems they could convert preferentially to others but I still do not see GSM Guild capitulation...yet

JGoren: One fatal flaw in that argument. A cdma (IS-95 and upgrades) overlay of GSM is not less expensive, it is more expensive initially.
