I look at the VIX and VXN, but not so much their absolute values as their change in direction, they are still in an uptrend, and thus the market current psychology not ready to change. After a long period of distribution in a narrow range (and now we finally know it was distribution, not consolidation), the options premiums are low. Now the premiums are going to increase, and may reach a climax, it may be a power apex than the April highs in VIX and VXN.
