Yes, it's been a strange year for AMAT. This stock is usually going strongly up, or strongly down. This endless sideways channel is atypical. The stock has been between 40 and 50 most of the last 10 months. AMAT is in the low 40s now.....and in October 2000.......and in October 1999. And, if we get a global recession in 2002, we could be in the low 40s in October 2002 as well.
