Company to Attend Wizard World and Otakon

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug 10, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- CMI Holdings Group (OTC Pink Sheets: CMIH)
is pleased to announce that the company will be attending the Otakon Anime show in Baltimore MD, August 10-12, and
the Wizard World Convention in Chicago IL, August 17-19. Both shows the company will be doing marketing and
consumer sales of entertainment merchandise.

The company has also finished development of the e-commerce web site purchased from the former Fandom. The web

LifePoint, Inc. Adds Key Sales and Support Personnel

Specialists to Help Commercialization Efforts of the Impact(TM) Test System

ONTARIO, Calif., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- LifePoint, Inc. (Amex: LFP - news), a leader in non-invasive drug diagnostic
technologies and solutions, announced the recent addition of several key sales, customer and technical support personnel to
further build efforts to successfully market LifePoint's first product, the IMPACT Test System and to provide high quality
customer support. The new hires include: David P. McGough as European Sales Manager, Kristi Hogan as Senior Market
Manager, Criminal Justice, Robert E. Reed as Industrial Sales Manager, Michael A. Edwards as Law Enforcement Sales
Manager, Susanne W. Adamson as Technical Services Manager, and Kathleen Effinger as Customer Service Manager. The
customer support and sales groups will continue to expand in the upcoming months to meet expected demand for the
IMPACT technology. Their efforts and expertise will compliment the work that has been done by LifePoint's marketing
group over the past six months.

David P. McGough joins LifePoint as European sales manager and will be responsible for managing law enforcement
marketing efforts in conjunction with Lion Laboratories. He will also be responsible for selection and management of
medical distribution for LifePoint products. Mr. McGough was most recently an international distribution manager at Quidel,
a manufacturer of on-site diagnostic products, where he governed distribution in Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle
East, and Africa. Prior to Quidel, Mr. McGough served as general manager for Syva's international businesses focused on
drug of abuse and therapeutic drug testing.

Kristi Hogan is LifePoint's new senior market manager, supporting the company's marketing efforts to the criminal justice
market. Ms. Hogan has spent 25 years marketing to law enforcement, probation, parole and other judicial departments
nationally. Most recently, Ms. Hogan developed marketing and statewide regulatory compliance strategies for corrections and
law enforcement for several major companies. Prior to her work as a marketing consultant, Ms. Hogan has worked in various
sales and marketing positions for breath alcohol testing and monitoring companies, such as LifeLock, Drager, and BI Inc.
Prior to that, Ms. Hogan was the director of Alcohol/Drug Safety for the Denver Division of Highway Safety and the
Colorado Department of Health and Environment.

Robert E. Reed joins LifePoint as sales manager for the industrial workplace market. Mr. Reed brings more than 12 years
experience in marketing and sales of drug testing products and services. Most recently Mr. Reed successfully worked to
found eScreen, an on-site urine drug-testing product company. Prior to eScreen, Mr. Reed was the regional director of sales
at Workplace for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp), one of the largest providers of industrial workplace testing
products. Before LabCorp, Mr. Reed held various management positions at Substance Abuse Technologies and
MedExpress.

Michael A. Edwards brings extensive experience in law enforcement marketing to LifePoint as the sales manager for the law
enforcement market. Mr. Edwards was most recently vice president of corporate sales and marketing at MSN Network
Services, Inc. Prior to MSN, Mr. Edwards worked for SafariLand Ltd., Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of law
enforcement products, where he served in various sales and marketing positions for over 10 years, including vice president of
international sales and director of sales and marketing.

Susanne W. Adamson joins LifePoint as technical services manager. Since 1992, Ms. Adamson has been providing technical
support for diagnostic products. Most recently, she was Technical Support Manager at ABX Diagnostics Inc., a supplier and
developer of diagnostic devices. Ms. Adamson also held technical support positions at diagnostic companies Cerner
Corporation and Abbott Laboratories.

Kathleen Effinger, LifePoint's new international customer service manager, has over 15 years of customer service management experience. Ms. Effinger has been a
customer service manager for numerous ``business to business'' and consumer product companies, including Allied Healthcare Products.
