topics: (Nightline) Oil in Sudan, To see or not to see.

topic # 1

From: listeditor@abcnews.go.com (Nightline)

TONIGHT'S SUBJECT:

War and money in the same place.

Or, more precisely, war and oil in the same place.

Doesn't it always seem to follow that where there are enormous
natural resources, and the potential for enormous wealth,
there is strife?

Tonight we focus on one place with more oil and more strife
than almost any other place on earth: the Sudan.

The Sudan is Africa's largest country.....

... United States has barred businesses, including its oil companies,
from operating in the Sudan... isolation. But several oil companies
do operate there, including companies from Europe, Asia
and Canada. Theirs is a policy of engagement.

Is either bringing an end to the strife in Sudan?

As you will see tonight, neither... for the civilians.....

We hope you will join us.

topic # 2

"... how can i respond to that which i don't see."

Once again, to the question asked for you,
you have decided to answer, as follows.

no, i will not understand

"Did you expect it to honor its word?"

It depends on the type of working relationship you have with it.

For myself we have a long and involved history going back 25 years,
having assumed a partnership whereby we barter in souls.

Selling one's soul to the devil is not as simple as most think,
and with my knowledge of how the transfer must take place
i am able to help those wanting an exchange.

What i get in return is private.
