Although that other stuff is useful in other facets of life (ie, card counting in blackjack...or playing Texas Hold 'em!)<G>

That type of future is precisely what I hope to avoid. I want my performance to dictate my position within the company. I fear most of America is run that way.

Don't get me wrong, being social is an important aspect of life. But being an independent thinker, and striving for optimal performance should also be important.
