That's a good start, Neo. Care to move on to the case study part, the part where we compare and contrast the behaviors of people in the groups? Maybe come to some conclusions about what this little item of diversity means to the quality of our society?

The problem is that people who view being moral as being true to themselves are also following a principle.

Not yours. But theirs.

As long as they are consistent with it, they're following their principles.

What I view as being unprincipled is two things.

1. Stating that you hold a principle, then acting contrary to it.

2. Stating simultanously that you adhere to conflicting and ireconcilable principles.

Those, to me, are the OP.

But not a person who has a principle but just one different from yours.
