Ted, MRVL has a $2.85 bil market cap. Even if it fits in perfectly with AMD and its ongoing business or IP would be quickly profitable it is probably too expensive.

Tim, in the past few months, MRVL's market cap has ranged from $1.6 to 3.7 billion. Without crunching numbers, how can you decide that is too expensive for AMD. Most companies in order to grow need to spend money whether its on in-house research or acquiring the IP.

Besides, I just threw MRVL as one possibility.
