What in the heck happened to the OSX this afternoon. When I left it was up about 3 points. Now, it is down. If the OSX can't rally on todays API's, then it is finished for the year!

RGLD is another very good stock. Roebear has a position

and has done the DD and research. So I'd rather he carry the ball on that one.

Re GLG: "Spectacular breakouts" aren't really necessary for the overall trend to be very powerful. As long as BOs occur on a pick-up in volume, they confirm the uptrend.

There are many other kinds of information that define the strength and likely durability of a trend. Books have been written about the subject. So I'll leave it at that.

However, my bullish attitude on GLG isn't based on a "technical" opinion. Though I use charts and TA, most of my gold work is FA. And GLSs fundamentals are outstanding.
