Dipy, Cant have it both ways. Either we recover or we dont. A period of stagnation is uacceptable to all those who remember the late 70's. It would be tragedy for the world far beyond just its economic ramifications. Powers that be will fight like hell to prevent that scenario. But you may be right. I hope not and you should too. How does a bear sleep at night rooting for the end of the world. Thats not directed at you--just a general question. mike
